Each journey marks a personal transformation and can take many forms, such as migration to the United States in search of new opportunities. The Festival welcomes works of all genres that can turn limits into stories.

Boundaries are not only geographical delimitations — they can also be invisible transitions, inner passages, social barriers, or technological limits. Every threshold crossed opens the way to a new, unpredictable territory still waiting to be explored. In these spaces, what we were no longer coincides with what we are becoming. We invite all authors to tell stories of crossing — a passage of age, a moment of choice, the shift between real and virtual, between what stands still and what changes. We welcome works of any genre or form, from fiction to documentary, animation to experimentation, that can turn every limit into a narrative space where both characters and viewers experience the values and fragility that each boundary carries within it.

The theme explores an emotional bridge between past and present as a shared experience. The past, while a burdensome weight that holds us back and defines us, also serves as a compass guiding our journey toward the future. Authors are invited to tell intimate yet dystopian stories that do not seek definitive answers but raise open questions about the relationship between past and future. Works of all genres and formats are welcome, capable of evoking a sense of suspension and transforming fears into new opportunities for the future.
