The invitation to the work must remain strictly confidential until the program is announced by the Festival, under penalty of exclusion from the selection. The overall scheduling and screening times are the exclusive responsibility of the Festival Management.

Participants guarantee that they hold the rights to use the images, music, and materials included in the submitted works. The organization reserves the right to use excerpts (max. 30 seconds) and images from the selected short films for promotional purposes related to the Festival. Submitted copies will not be returned.

By submitting their works and registering for the competition, participants consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of the competition, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and Article 13 of the European Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR. The participant authorizes the organizing company of the “VisioNova Film Festival” to publish images, photographs, and videos recorded during the Festival on its website, in catalogs, and/or through other suitable communication channels, as well as in public and private promotional events, without compromising personal dignity or decorum. The participant also confirms that this authorization for usage rights does not conflict with any existing contractual agreements and/or the rights of talent agencies, releasing the event organizers from any third-party claims related to this grant of rights. The participant authorizes the use of the image(s) and music entirely free of charge.

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Article 13 of the European Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR, the participant declares to have been fully informed about the purposes and methods of the processing of the personal data knowingly provided in the application form and authorizes the archiving of the submitted material in the historical records of the VisioNova Film Festival.

The Management reserves the right to use all received materials and the works submitted for jury evaluation, and thus selected as finalists, for the promotion of the social message associated with the festival. Any form of promotion following the official announcement of the program must, as an explicit commitment by the submitters, indicate participation in the Festival using the official logo provided by the organization. Works that receive an award must also include the mention of the recognition obtained, following the official design and format supplied by the organization.

All works of a racist or defamatory nature, or in violation of any legal regulations, will be automatically rejected. Prizes will be awarded only in the presence of the winning director or their official representative. The Festival Secretariat reserves the right to ship the prize, with shipping costs to be covered by the recipient.
